GOOD. Water slightly stained; 60 degrees; 15.32 feet below pool. Lake Bridgeport is around 15 feet low. The ramps at the dam and U.S. Route 380 are the best to launch. Water clarity is good with temperature in the high 50s to low 60s. Sand bass and hybrids have been good on soft plastics. These fish are moving around quite a bit. They may be in the north end one day, then mid lake the next. Largemouth bass are very close to being on spawning beds. Start looking at protected coves and creeks with warm water. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits and plastics have been working. Crappie are close to spawning as well. Check around the docks on the north end with minnows and jigs. Start at the front of the docks and work your way shallow. Catfish have been good drifting cut baits on main lake flats. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.
