Water Level Details
GOOD. Water stained; 72 degrees; 0.21 feet below pool. Lake Bridgeport is at full pool and rising. All normal ramps are open and the low water ramps are no longer usable. The lake is fairly muddy at this point, if you decide to get on the lake keep an eye out for floating debris especially in the north end. Catfish are excellent on cut and prepared baits. The mouths of the river and creeks are the best areas. Crappie are scattered with the high water. Some fish are still being caught around docks on the southern end with minnows and jigs. Largemouth bass are fair on topwater baits fished around newly flooded cover. Hybrids and sand bass are slow with the muddy conditions. A slab or live bait fished around the main lake structure would be a good place to start. Report by Keith Bunch, Lake Bridgeport Guide Service.
