FAIR. Water normal stain; 87 degrees; 0.04 feet above pool. Crappie are good in the morning then become sluggish as the days heats up. Largemouth bass are good off main lake points and rocks using Texas rigs and deep crankbaits. Hybrids and white bass are good using slabs and live shad on main lake humps. Catfish are fair using cut shad and big live minnows. Report by Jack Pellegrini, Lake Bridgeport Crappie Guide Service. Anticipate increased boater traffic this weekend as we celebrate our Nation’s Independence Day.
